We keep our groups small and carefully curated to ensure everyone is at a similar language level. This means you'll feel both supported and appropriately challenged throughout the experience, while building connections with like-minded learners.

We carefully match participants based on language level and experience. You’ll be placed with others at a similar stage, making the experience more enjoyable and effective.

Don't worry about getting it exactly right. Just be honest about where you are in your application — how long you've been learning, what you can comfortably do, where you feel less confident. Once we've reviewed it, we'll have a conversation and work out together which trip is the best fit for you.

Yes, but you'll each need to complete a separate application. There's a space on the form to indicate you'd like to join together.

On each trip homepage, there is a recommended level of Portuguese for each participant. If you have any doubts, please feel free to get in contact.

We'll send you pre-trip materials, including a detailed itinerary and a vocabulary guide for each activity.

Absolutely. We host a pre-trip video call where you'll meet your fellow participants, introduce yourselves, and ask any questions before you arrive.
